DERMATOGLYPHICS MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE TEST(DMIT)

The Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Test (DMIT) is a comprehensive assessment tool that helps in understanding an individual’s brain potential, Inborn traits and Personality. It combines the study of dermatoglyphics (fingerprints) with multiple intelligence theory to provide insights into an individual's cognitive abilities, learning style, and potential talents. This test is based on the premise that each person's fingerprints are unique and reflect their genetic makeup and brain development.

DMIT analyzes various aspects of a person's fingerprints, such as patterns, ridges, and lines, to identify strengths and weaknesses in different areas of intelligence, including linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic intelligences. By understanding one's dominant intelligences and learning preferences, individuals can make informed decisions about education, career paths, and personal development.

The results of DMIT are often used in educational institutions, career counseling, and personal development programs to optimize learning strategies, identify suitable career paths, and enhance overall performance. However, it's essential to approach DMIT with a critical mindset and consider it as one of many tools for self-discovery and growth.

SCIENCE BEHIND DMIT

DMIT is Dermatoglyphic Multiple Intelligence Test is a technology tool and a set of assessment systems developed by scientist and medical experts based on the science of Dermatoglyphics which is the scientific study of fingerprint patterns.
DMIT is based on understanding from Neuroscience, Genetics, Dermatoglyphics , Psychology and Embryology.

Harold Cummins is the Father of Dermatoglyphics since he coined the term DERMATOGLYPHICS in 1926. His lifetime studies and techniques (Cummins – Methodology) have been important tools in tracing genetic and evolutionary relationships.
Studies by other scientists and neurosurgeons indicate a close relationship between fingerprints and Cerebrum of brain ( Neocortex).
According to developmental biology, Neocortex development goes hand in hand with fingerprints development. Skills and intelligences develop from the Neocortex/ Cerebral cortex of the brain which is divided into 5 lobes on each half .Thus the two halves of cerebrum are represented by our 10 fingers. The left half of cerebrum by right hand fingers and right half by the left hand fingers. Thus inborn skills and intelligences are analysed by simply looking at dermal ridge patterns on fingers (Fingerprints). Fingerprints are unique hence each one of us are unique.

NO TWO PERSONS HAVE THE SAME FINGER PRINTS AND THE GENES.

FINGER PRINT IS AN EXTERNAL DISPLAY OF GENE AND BRAIN’S INTELLECTUAL FUNCTION

DMIT FOR CHILD DEVELOPMENT

Childhood is a very influential time in a person’s life . Events that happen when we’re young – even small, seemingly insignificant ones – can have a direct impact on how we feel and behave as adults. There are many barriers in understanding child’s perspective.

Child development refers to the intricate process through which infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It is a multifaceted journey influenced by a myriad of factors including genetics, environment, culture, and individual experiences. Understanding child development is crucial for parents, educators, caregivers, and policymakers as it provides insights into how children learn, behave, and interact with the world around them.
DMIT helps in understanding the intricacies of child development, equips us with the knowledge and tools needed to create nurturing environments, implement effective interventions, and support children in reaching their full potential. It underscores the importance of holistic approaches that address the interconnectedness of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and environmental factors in promoting optimal development and well-being across the lifespan.
DMIT helps to know a child, understand the reason for the child’s behaviour. It helps in understanding the inherent skills and intelligences in a child which can be enhanced by the process of LEARNING.
Neurodevelopmental aspects of child development can be better understood through DMIT report and consultation

DMIT helps in Identification of developmental delays which will initiate further action– Parent education, prevention of severe disordered function, and promotes positive holistic development

The learning styles and scores given in the report are customized to every child. Children are not just mini-adults.. They are everlasting learners. They are qualitatively different. They have physical, psychological and social needs that must be met to enable healthy growth and development.

The extent to which parents, the family, the community and the society are able to meet the developmental needs (or not) has long-term consequences for the kinds of adults they will become. So go for DMIT..

DMIT FOR PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Personality can be understood in terms of thinking, feeling, and behaviour of an individual. It refers to differences between people in their psychological characteristics, not physical or biological differences.
Fingerprints are blueprints to one’s self. They can tell how perception, emotions, cognition, motivation and finally, the action of a person towards a situation are directed.
According to dermatoglyphics studies, a person can be categorised to having one of the following personality characteristics and behavioural tendencies which may be dominant, steady, complaint or influential. Although, it may happen that he/she is a mix of any two or three sometimes, both natures getting expressed at different situations.
There is room for both personality and situation to have an important influence on behaviour. Personality is persistent—it stays more or less the same over time. People do change, but they don’t change drastically. Personality seems to be pretty stable, even over decades and after big life changes until unless they make a sincere effort in knowing self and make conscious necessary changes with respect to their beliefs and values which are the basis for behaviour and personality traits.
DMIT report provides you the characteristics of your personality and your personality traits as a function of combination of functions of brain lobes. The report and the DMIT consultation also offer advices and suggestions custom made for your Personality development. Personality development is the need of every individual to communicate better with others, work more co-operatively in groups, manage people better personally and professionally, appreciate individual differences etc.

Intelligence Assessment
Reasoning power, intelligence, logic, knowledge are not synonymous
“An intelligence is the ability to solve problems, or to create products, that are valued within one or more cultural settings”
--Gardner’s definition of Intelligence-Frames of Mind, Howard Gardner (1983, 1999).
Intelligence is a PROBLEM SOLVING SKILL.

There are two assumptions about intelligence-

1. That it is a single, general capacity that every human being possesses to a greater or lesser extent

2. It can be measured by standardized verbal instruments, such as short-answer, paper and-pencil tests.
Each individual is born with a certain amount of intelligence, and we individuals can in fact be rank-ordered in terms of our God-given intellect or IQ. So entrenched is this way of thinking—and talking—that most of us lapse readily into rankings of individuals as more or less “smart,” “bright,” “clever,” or “intelligent.”
There are many ways to recognize your talents abilities, Skills, intelligence. Taking up an “IQ TEST” is quite common, which is administered with paper and pencil rather than as an interchange with an examiner. But the broad outlines—an hour’s worth of questions yielding one round number— are pretty much the way of intelligence testing the world around.
The Intelligence quotient or IQ number is likely to exert appreciable effect upon one’s future, influencing the way in which one’s teachers think of her and determining one’s eligibility for certain privileges. The score on an intelligence test does not predict one’s ability to handle school subjects, though it foretells little of success in later life

So, there must be more to intelligence than short answers to short questions—answers that predict academic success; and yet, in the absence of a better way of thinking about intelligence, and of better ways to assess an individual’s capabilities
Personality test/ psycometric test/ Aptitude test is also well known.
But, the truth about personality test is that you can't actually pass a personality test. In fact, you can't fail either.Accuracy and reliability are questionable! There is no quantification of traits and there is confusion with agreeing and disagreeing with oneself.
These imply that the traditional methods of assessing the intellect are not sufficiently well honed to allow assessment of an individual’s potentials or achievements in navigating by the stars, mastering a foreign tongue, or composing with a computer.
DMIT is an easy, accurate and Scientific method to know your intelligence, personality, inborn abilities!
DMIT provides an objective assessment of Multiple Intelligence based on Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, a theory that challenged the dominant definition of Intelligence as limited to mathematical and Linguistic abilities. Garder has theorized that, rather than just these two intelligences ( Linguistic and Mathematical), a grouping of 8 types of intelligences, more accurately accounts for the diverse ways in which people acquire and utilize knowledge
